CULTURE COMMUNITIES AT LES MILLS

Here at Les Mills, we believe that building a culture where everyone feels seen, heard, and valued through our Culture Communities isn’t a trend – it’s simply the right thing to do.

We aspire to create a company where our teammates can be their authentic selves, speak their mind, and not be afraid to fail.

INSTRUCTOR TRAINING

Ever wondered how those instructors that you see teaching our classes got to be so brave to get up in front of all those people AND be so gosh darn ah-mazing at it? It’s no luck of the draw, it’s our carefully designed Instructor Training that takes us from “hell no” to “woah”.Ask any teammate who has done it (there are heaps of us) and they’ll tell you, it’s not just skill building – it’s life changing! With opportunities to break through personal barriers, challenge your comfort zone, and grow in ways you never imagined. All inside a supportive, inspiring environment alongside your LMI teammates — because we support you to succeed.

You’ll walk, lunge, or waddle 😅 away, undoubtedly closer to the products that we create and the amazing Instructors who keep Movers coming back to work out with us time and time again. You don’t need to be a regular class attendee of the program you choose, and there’s absolutely no expectation to become a Les Mills Instructor — unless you want to, of course!

As an LMI teammate, you have the once in a lifetime opportunity to BE BRAVE and experience our very own Instructor Training.

Volunteer Days

Rain or shine you’ll find us on Motutapu Island!

Every month Les Mills International provides the opportunity for a one-day volunteering adventure on Motutapu Island, where we help restore native ecosystems and experience the beauty of conservation in action. This not only provides a unique partnership with the Motutapu Island Trust, but helps us build on our IMPACT goals to ‘Change the world’

Weather-dependent tasks include:

  • Tree Planting: Contribute to reforestation efforts by planting native trees that support local wildlife.
  • Weeding: Help remove invasive species to give native plants the space they need to thrive.

During one of the visits, the team removed soil and built a pathway from scratch!

This is more than just a day out of the office—it’s a chance to connect with other LMI teammates, meet other passionate Motutapu volunteers, and be part of a project that’s shaping the future of one of New Zealand’s most ecologically important islands.

Here’s just one of the feedback emails about our LMI volunteers:

No need to worry about your Annual Leave, we have a dedicated ‘Volunteer Leave Day’ for you to use during your visit!

It’s less about why? And more about ‘WHY NOT”!

Leave with a huge sense of accomplishment—and maybe a few muddy boots.
